As people age, they become more prone to health ailments. Minor symptoms, when ignored in middle-age, can lead to a severe disease that might be incurable. Hence, it is better to ensure timely precautions.

Men, especially fathers, who are 35-years old or above must get the following medical tests as soon as possible to ensure good health:

 

Cholesterol

It is advised that every male must get a lipid profile test done every five years in order to assess health risks effectively. With poor diet and eating habits, high cholesterol level could lead to heart diseases, which can be life-threatening.

Heart

35-year old men should get the basic heart health tests such as ECG, ECHO, TMT, and stress test. The idea is to ensure early diagnoses of any associated medical condition before it advances to a severe stage. People with a family history of heart-related issues must get this test done every two years.

Sugar

Diabetes has become a common phenomenon for men in the age bracket of 30 to 40 years, especially for this with a family history of the disease. Annual diabetes tests are useful in keeping a regular check on the sugar levels, especially HbA‘1c.

USG Abdomen

Abdominal ultrasounds are used to check the condition of organs such as liver, kidney, etc. The visibility of organ movement and blood flow helps to diagnose any functional irregularities or conditions such as stone, hernia, cancer, tumors, etc.
